Mad and don't know what to do.

I am so mad right now. At the end of last month my husband got a letter in the mail saying the the grandmother of this 3 maybe 4 kids was seeking child support and he was to go to Domestic relations on 8/8/08 so I got train tickets since we live about 30 miles from the kids which is only a 35 minute train ride and we went to Lancaster. He told the worker that he is unsure if one of the kids is his so they set up a dna test for 9/9/08. This is not the problem. Yesterday my husband got his interim order telling him he has to pay $62.68 for the 3 that he knows is his.  My husband went off. He fells like he should not have to pay anything for his kids because the grandmother won't let him see the kids. I feel as though he is being a dead beat dad and I am getting ready to kick him out. He is not working or helping me in any way and he has started to treat the twins bad. He expects me to pay for the train tickets for the 9th and I feel as though I have bailed him out enough. He has 5 maybe 6 other kids plus my twins and the one I am carrying so he will have 8 kids in March. I work and take care of my boys. My boss is super cool and lets me bring the boys in with me since she owns her own store and there is plenty of room. I just don't know what to do. I am so tired of feeling like I am doing everything. I would love for some advice.

It is up to you but it sounds as if he doesn't want any responsiblity and the way he treats the other kids is a good way to tell how he will treat yours.

No offense, but that man needs to get fixed ASAP! 8 kids with different women, dear lord... Anyway, moving right along. If those are his kids, he needs to step up and be a man about it and pay the child support. $62.68 is nothing, he's getting off cheap at that. And sorry to say, but child support and visitation are two separate issues. He can apply for visitation, but it has nothing to do with the child support.

I hate to say it, but he does sound like a dead beat dad, hopefully he won't end up treating your kids the same way...

I don't know what you should do but I would kick him out.  Sorry but I am not one to support someone who is acting like that and if as you say he won't even take care of those other kids that are his well then that says a lot about him. I am sorry you are having to go through this.  Let me know if you need anything:)  Les
