Scary moment this morning

I was playing outside with my 2 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son this morning and they decided they wanted to go to the backyard to play.  So we were bringing the bikes and chalk into the garage and Cassidy (2yr old) went on in before us and closed the door and LOCKED IT!  I started banging on the door and telling her to unlock the door to no avail.  She never came to the door.  So I went to the front door  to check it and told my son to stay by the garage door in case she opened it and the front door was locked as well. So i went to the gate of our fenced in backyard and thank god my husband has told me the trick to getting in (we keep it locked) without climbing over and there she was sitting in her swing.  I figured if I go to the back door she could open it up because she opens it all the time, it's a slidng glass door.  I was hoping she'd open it at least, if she had been in the house.   I was just about ready to grab a screw driver and figure out how to break the lock to get in the house. Thank God it didn't come to that.  I was freaking out.  But if I'd needed help, I always take the phone outside with me in case of an emergency.  Now apparently I need to take a house key outside with me too.

yikes how scary.  I know what a horrible feeling that can be i locked my daughter in the car about a month ago and ended up breaking a window to get her out.  Glad it all worked out okay!  =)
