shower time

Toys all over the floor, dirty dishes in the sink, trash needs to be taken out, bills need to be paid, kids running around being loud, and your about to go insaine. "NAP TIME!" or "BED TIME!" kids are asleep, not all the toys are picked up, got the dishes in the dishwasher, trash outside your door, then you go into the bathroom and play music (or none), you get into a hot steamy shower and just stand there. You think about all the things that still need to be done, and what you have to do the next day or the week after that. As a single parent i think "when am i finally going to meet him?" "How is he going to react when i tell him my dads a pastor?" "Will he like my kids?" but then I just shut the thinker down and just enjoy the hot water on my body. Enjoy the quietness. Pray. Then realize you've only been in the shower for 10 minutes and the water is going cold. DANG IT!
