Do I ever make breakfast for dinner? Oh yes, about once a month! I love to do it because the kids are able to help me with it - my 10yo can already make pancakes by himself, and both kids can crack an egg to scramble without making a huge mess. Breakfast for dinner is a "planned" meal, meaning I write it into our menu as "Dinner - breakfast!!". I make sure to have sausage or bacon, plenty of eggs, make biscuits from scratch (teaching my boy how to measure 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, etc. properly), and pancakes. Always with gravy and/or syrup too!
The only downside is my egg allergy. Thankfully it's mild, but I do have to limit myself if I eat any eggs at all. I can have no more than 2 deviled eggs if they're around, or one fried egg - I don't let myself eat scrambled eggs because they're so darn good that I want more than I can really have. That just means I can have more pancakes, or sausage and biscuits. :-)
Around here, breakfast for dinner has to be eaten no later than about 5:30. I make enough of everything that we all fill up on it, and it will hold us over until the next morning. A school morning breakfast is oatmeal or muffins, and on the weekends it might be just pancakes or cereal. Everyone looks forward to this kind of dinner though!
(Sometimes these "themes" are fun to write about, it makes me think about other things than just updating everyone with our boring stuff LOL)
