So, I started to lose weight on the Atkins, then switched to Michael Thurmond's 6 Week Body Makeover plan so I could make a lifestyle change. Okay, here's the stats. I started May 5, 2008 at 216, then ate better and excersized and got down to 214ish by July 14. So I obviously wasn't eating as well as I thought. Then I started the Atkins on July 14th and got down to around 195 in about a month! WOO HOO! So I wanted to switch to the 6WBM and I knew it was strict! So I had three whole days to pig out eating whatever I wanted (Pizza, ice cream, pasta, etc...).
Ok, So Monday, August 18th I weighed in at 200. I've been on the 6WBM and as of today, Saturday August 23rd, I am at 193!!! My goal is to get to 160 by mid-November. I am training for my second 5K. I did one last year, but didn't run hardly at all! I wasn't as prepared as I thought I would be. So, this time, I will stick to my plan and hope to finish the 5K in around 30 minutes, or less! (Last year was about 45 minutes!-Mostly walking though)
