This has been the best birthday in years for me!

Today is my birthday and while normally I do not really even like to acknowledge it, (horrible past birthdays I would just as soon forget), today has been just wonderful.

My mother call me 1st thing this morning to sing Happy Birthday to me. The 1st time she has called in 17 years on my birthday! I was shocked and pleased all at the same time. Things have been getting better as far as our relationship goes over the last 2 to 3 years and I am glad for that. It was really nice to hear my mom wishing me a happy birthday, it really was.

We all made to church with time to spare this morning. That was a nice change of pace for us! LOL! Try as we may, we rarely make it for Sunday School and it was great to get the kids there...they love it!

I knew the girls had been working with the Pastor on a song that they had learned at church camp this summer but I was really surprised and touched at how beautifully the 4 of them sang together. This was my birthday present from my girls........the song " How Great Is Our God", and the public debut of them singing as well!

The video doesn't do them justice but I had to film it. I don't think I could be any prouder of them than I was this morning! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

One more birthday note, Wes made lunch and served me as well and them he let me take a long uninterrupted nap afterwards!

I'm tell you...the BEST birthday EVER!!!!!
