Hello,

For those of you who don't know, my son and I are in the running for a ben and jerry ice cream contest. We came in top 10 in the prelims, and now, we have to come in top 5, to win a prize! I am going fuck'n nuts! This is so stink'n stressful......it's do or die, and I don't want to go down with the titanic! So, please help....I don't know what else to do.....we need your votes.....and we need them bad!

How do we come in top 5, you ask? Why by computer votes, of course! www.benjerry.com/birthdaycontest/

And how do we(my son and I) get computer votes, you ask? Why by his mother and manager, getting on her hands and knees, sending out bothersome emails to friends and families, and trying to rustle up complete stranger votes.

And how long is this going on for, you ask? It's been going on since August 18th, and will be going on until Sept. 2nd!

And how often do people need to be reminded to vote, you ask? Everyday, or they forget, get busy, and don't put in their votes!

And how do I feel, after a week or so, of emailing, messaging, and calling people for votes, you ask? Well, besides feeling like I am asking the world of these people(which I'm not), I feel like no one really cares!

And how do I know if people are really voting, you ask? Well, I don't really know, and can only trust what I am being told!

And what am I going to do if we win, you ask? Well, we win a trip to vermont, a weekend stay at a hotel, lots of fun little prizes, a place at the birthday bash, money for spending, and great publicity for my 14 year old.

And what am I going to do if we don't win, you ask? Well, the first thing will be thank the lord, that I won't have to be in charge of rounding up votes....then I think I will be alittle sad!

And what video is his, you ask? The middle video, on the top, shaped like a lego house!

And, lastly, you might want to know, just how thankful I will be for you to take a few seconds out of your day, to help a complete stranger and her son, win a contest? Well, words can't describe how I feel about each and every mother that can feel my pain as a devoted manager, and caring mother. I will be forever grateful for your help, and any help you can throw our way!

As I close this journal, let me say, that although this is a pain, I am sticking to my guns and will do what I can, so that my son can have a wonderful experience in his life........

So I ask you, is it so wrong, for me to want to win?
