k so I go upstairs to run my  clothes in  dryer ( we live in a huge apt complex) I find that the dryer is not spining just heating up , so I stop it and take out my clothes.  I found that about 6 pieces of my clothing is burnt some melted like. So I put a note on the dryer saying do not use fire hazard ( a major fire hazard whole place could have burnt down) anyways I call today and they were like ok we will have it fixed right away and then I ask " what about my clothes ". The lady on the phone this morning says bring them to the office and let her see. ( I have no prob with that ) well I get to the office around 4 lady I talked to this morning is gone she leaves at 12 ( nice to know now ) anyways the lady there said that there prob wasn't anything thing they would be able to do anyways. So my question is , do the have to replace my clothes or I just let it go. We have really nice clothes I can't afford to get brand new ones because my got burnt in the dryer. So does any one know what I can do??  Thanks - Melissa

Count your blessings that the place didn't burn down, I'd say!

ToniT...

Take the clothes to the lady that said to bring them down. It's their dryer they should take care of it. Good luck and you're lucky that you found it when you did.

Ladys...

Do you have renters insurance? I know when my ex's mom had damage done to her clothes and some stolen from her apartment complex they reimbursed her
