Shutterbugmama's Journal

I've tried to be quiet; It's impossible.

Tell Congress not to allow drilling off our coasts!!!

National Resources Defense Council
Defense Council works to protect wildlife and wild places to ensure a healthy environment for all life on earth.

Offshore oil rigOffshore drilling would not significantly lower gas prices or solve the energy crisis. Instead of more drilling, we need real, long-term solutions that will end our dependence on oil once and for all.

WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN HERE!

There are MANY ways to let your voice be heard...VOTING is ONE way....

and writing your congressional members is another.
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

God knows, these guys don't have a say.

Thank you; and please pass the link above along to those you know.

The Earth will thank you.

wow, am i the only one who belives in off shore drilling? If we do not do it than the other countires will. I hear that there isn't any left in alaska anyway.

That being said, i do belive we need more options. I think we need more resources. forgive me I am a west vriginian. I was raised to belive in non reusable resources. Aka coal. anyway, I am learning and trying. I have a huge box outside with plastic and stuff to recycle. THere is an idea, lets use trash to fuel our cars. We know there is plenty of that. :)
