Well I have been coughing lately and trying to hold it in  because my sides still hurts.. well eveidently last night while I was asleep I really coughed and blew open about 1.5 inches of my incision. All this sticky, yellow bloody mess was leaking out of it.. I got up and walked into the bathroom and it was leaking all over.. a gross mess.. I got in the shower cleaned up and put a gauze pad and tape on it and then called both doctors. My urologist that did the surgery had to call me back and my primary doc made an appointment for me at 3:00 today. With the cough I have congestion in my chest and was affraid it might turn into Pnuemonia. So the Urologist nurse called me back and explained that it sounded like a hemotoma ( spelling ) and that sometimes this happens... it is fluid that builds up between the incision and where I am sewed up inside.I am fortunate that the thing busted on it's own because alot of times they have to go in and lance  it. YUCK...

So at 3pm we went off to my primary docs appointment... he swabed it and is sending it out for a culture and he wants to make sure it is not staff infection. He listened to my lungs and all was clear.. He gave me 7 days of Levaquin ( which by the way is strong enough to kill anthrax ) and felt that would fix the cough and phlem. He wanted me to see the Urologist... so after my appointment I called the other doc and the nurse is going to talk to the doc tommrow and see if he needs to see me.

It is still leaking and oozing and gross, but I am relieved that it is not something horrific!!!!!

I may get to go back to work on Tuesday... I miss work believe it or not.. I guess if you have money and your off work that is one thing but to be poor and off work is another LMAO>.. I can only watch daytime tv so much... no soaps for me... Only Judge Mathis and Judge Judy ... LMAO...
