Okay so recently I have "reconnected" with my Aunt.  There was no falling out or anything like that, she has always been sort of a loner. Plus she moved to a little town in WV to help her MIL.  So we never see her.   Anyway for some reason we started talking and she has been making stuff for my daughter! My Aunt has no grandchildren (her 40yo son still livesd with them!!!!) and I feel like she's looking for some to adopt.  So here are a few of the dresses that she has made for my girl.  Luckily she hasn't made Michael and shirts, she just buys his!!!

So these are the wonderful dresses Al has gotten.

I really have to say the one that looks like "curtains" (above) looks really cute on her!  We shall be getting more dresses shortly! It's not that I'm ungrateful, they're just not my style.  Who cares anyway as long as Allie likes them right?

**I really do like the first and the last one, maybe if I give her measurements for Allie they will fit better. The bottom one actually fits her, but the others hang like sacks on her.  The length is right but even for "A line" they are huge!

I totally love the simplicity of that first one!  So sweet!  And very thoughtful of her too!

My step-grandma used to make clothes for my brother and I all the time!  I know how you feel!  The first one isn't too bad, it's kinda cute!  It's a really nice thought and I'm sure she put lots of time into them.  I agree that maybe some different fabric would help.
