My baby has torticollis...ugh it is very upsetting as I would like him to be perfect. He leans but the physical therapist says it is very common and he has a minor case. Any other Mom's facing this issue?? Would love any input or experiences?

As of right now I have to turn her head at every diaper change. THe Dr. said it's very mild, My ped didn't even notice it untill I told him about it. She only tilts her head when she is sleeping in her carseat of very relaxed.. I am hoping she will be "normal" soon. Did your dr say how long it will take to get there muscles how they should be?
my daughter has torticollis as well. she was diagnosed in the beginning of september at 3 1/2 months old. i had never hard of it before then. we do her physical therapy, but she still has a slight tilt. because of the tort. she has weak neck muscles.... she cannot hold her head for very long on her belly. she loves tummy time now (used to hate it), but she has to "rest" her head alot (which concerns me since she'll do a face plant into the ground). if you need a torticollis mommy friend, look me up! take care! :)
i am not sure if this is what my 9 month old daughter hasor not she has flat head on the right side and sheleanstotheright all the time we are doing ot right now waiting on dr and medacaid to start her pt but she does have very very tight tone and it is gettin worse every day

i almost had a problem with this... i know that sounds weird. but when Connor was just a couple weeks old i was having serious problems getting him to breastfeed on my right breast. my old pediatrician said it was torticollis and we had to do some exercises to help with it. i guess it worked. he doesnt have to wear a helmet and my new dr has never said anything about it. but he got so used to nursing on my left breast that for a while i had a c cup and an a cup LOL how is it going? still having issues with it?
