I had my first breast surgery on Monday August 25th. It was longer than the surgeon had originally expected and the tumor was significantly larger than she had anticipated as well. All is fine now. I am very sore and I have a drain that has to remain in place for 1 week. The incision on my breast its self is fine...no pain or discomfort but where the drain is OMG I feel everything!! Its so tender and hurst everytime I move. The DR told me just to make sure I stick to taking my pain meds...I have only taken 2 loratabs since I had the surgery. I am not into taking pain meds and I am trying to tough it out. Once I get this drain out I will be much much better!!! I am excited to heal up and then have my reduction/reconstruction lift surgery!!! I want pretty perky boobies!!!! :)

Hey Amber! Congrats on your first surgery! Hope you're doing well! I know you want to tough it out but the pain meds are there for a reason...to make you comfortable and more tolerable for others to want to be around you!
Good Luck withyour recovery! Hope you're feeling better, soon! Take care!
