I have a group on yahoo..and I am searching for MORE members...!!!

east*coast*parenting*network* is the name of the group...we need a LOT more members..but, only if you are willing to be kind, positive, and willing to stick to the topics, but, also willing to share what you can..and not start conversations about negative things..(well, as in fighting, put downs, and so on..that we DO NOT allow!) but, I am looking for some fun and really caring people...if you are a grandma, or an aunt, or whomever..who happens to take care of children...this would be a great place for you...I started this group because I needed some support and help with regards to my step-daughter and step son...I thought that it would be super to meet up with other moms..and also it's just a great place to have.."just in case"...I will still be hanging out and writing on cafemom ....this is also a great place to chat with others as well!!
I don't want to leave my friends, either!!
But, if you think that you might be interested...(read the groups description at the group site...) then come on in, the door is open!
We do not exclude fathers either! OH, one other important thing...you don't have to be living in the east coast either! I just put that, because I am living on the east side of the states..and I wanted something that was on THIS side of the U.S....There are a ton of California sites..and or more than the East coast anyhow..and I just wanted a group for "out here" on this side! LOL!!

everyone I connect with seems to be on the east coast, while i'm here in the northwest. I miss all the chats because of the time difference. My mil is in NY--and my eldest son, so that makes it the most beautiful place on earth (but I was reallly overwhelmed and irritated with NY when I was there--just don't like big cities). maybe destiny is unfolding and we're headed in that direction. my husband is dissatisfied with his job and the neighbors are cold. maybe we'll be moving. anyway, I'm going to check out the yahoo site; I have a wealth of experience and frequently have perplexing problems. I want to share in a positive way happy thursday ! --catkiss
