So excited!!! We got some info on our trip!

Hubby was finally able to get to talk to the trip leader for our mission trip to Tanzania! Im soooo psyched! We now have applications, A packing list, passport apps and samples to create our fundraising letters! We also know where we will be going. And the coolest part is I kinda already knew! Last week I was watching some videos Aimz sent me about Heidi Baker-a missionary in Mozambique. They were beyond amazing! So i went searching for some videos out of Tanzania missions. I found a couple that was from Columbus Ohio that raised enough support to go to Tanzania for a 5 year mission. The video spoke to me so much! It was in Dar es Salaam-the capital city of Tanzania. Watching the videos of this family I felt God and of course I was crying. I saw myself in that city. And low and behold-guess where our trip is scheduled to be! Dar es Salaam! We will be going on a 2 part mission working in the Food Shelter our host missionaries started and then minsitering around the city to reach out to Muslim locals. Im beyond excited and sooooo relieved! I had been so worried that we didnt hear from them when we were told we would. The only thing is we dont yet know the total cost. We do know payment deadlines and depost amounts, but Im sure it will all be taken care of. God has had everything else taken care of so far! I have peace that the money will come! I have fire in my heart to stay focused and to be the best I can be on this trip! I ahve all these plans of things I want to take-of course underwear from my Underwear for Africa drive and Im hoping on possibly school supplies. Talking to Mik last nite gave me some ideas on that. And I have a friend checking with the dentist she works for to donate toothbrushes and toothpaste. I pray that works out! Im just thrilled and ready!

Im gonna post a couple of the videos I had watched last week of Dar es Salaam-the first one is the one that had me ready to go to that city before I knew I was.

Lord use me, send me to do your will! I will go for you, I will answer my calling! I know its already in the works and in your hands. Thank you for finding me worthy!

Jill-

I am BEYOND excited for you and Dave!!  That is so awesome!!  God is going to use you both in a mighty way.

I can't wait to see the videos you put up--I'm at work so I can't view them right now.

Have you thought anymore about attending the missions summit on New Years Eve?  I have to send our money in soon.  My brother in law and sis in law are going to go also!
