In all our years
the one thing most forgotten is
what we have learned.
More and more
we fight against the only truth
we all long for.
Towers of tears - all we build
is towers of tears

Far as we've gone
nothing in our past moved hearts
progressively.
All we've done
is built more dreams on adverse
philosophies.

Turn around
everything thats there has all
been done before.
Face beyond
everything we fear is all
repeated wrongs.
Still we try
forcing those same pieces
that refuse to fit.
Live our lives
making sense of nothing
and nothing of it.

Towers of tears
built on blood and flesh
of Gods only Son.
Thousands of years
giving us the blueprint
to build upon.
still....we take care
and go on building
