My Poor Baby!!

This Morning at 5am my baby was sleeping in her bassinet. ok well her bassinet the side comes down so i can put my hand in there to soothe her when she crys andshe can be beside you but still be in her bed.  we took the side down so we can see her because she has acid reflux and she chokes in her sleep,so i wanted to be able to see her.{the bassinet from walmart-poohbear 4 in 1} ok now, this morning she rolled out of her bassinet!!! on to my floor which is hardwood flooring of all things! she fell right on her head plus! she it her forehead on the metal bar on the very bottom of my bed {holds my mattress} we went straight to the ER . they done a CatScan and everything is fine. they sent us home. shew im so glad everything is ok, but now she has a line between her eyes and two knots/bruises on her head. i feel like such a bad mother right now. im just glad shes okay. thanks for reading and please no bashing im already hurt as it is.

I am really glad to hear that she is ok, Is that the same bassinet that was recalled? I saw it on the news  a couple of days ago, It was a winnie the poo bassinet.

yup. we're going to take it back!! that thing shouldnt even be on the market!! im just very lucky nothing happened to my baby to damage or anything. she was laughing and playing with the nurses at the ER im just very grateful.

You are NOT a bad mother at all....a "bad" mother wouldn't have taken the baby to the ER!  So see!  You're OK!  When my daughter was very small, I sat her on top of the bathroom counter and turned around for ONE second, only for her to fall to the floor, on a very HARD floor.  It KILLED me, but she was just fine......they are alot "tougher" that one thinks.  Bless you!
