Man I remember like it was yesterday, I couldn't wait to be 18 and out of the house or 21 and able to drink legally!

Where did the time go?  I don't remember wanting to be 33 and out of school 15 years.  Wow I think I just ran into a brick wall!

Did I ever imgaine the day my Grandmother would not be here and my mom turning 61?  That is how old my Grandmother should be, not my mom.

I have found myself hating how fast time goes now.  I just want it to slow down (not necessarily stop).  Before I know it, I will be the one that is 61 with grandkids.

I haven't seen some of my classmates in 15 years.  It is hard to imagine what they look like at age 33.  Where have they been?  What are they doing?  Are they married?  Do they have kids?

I have classmates who have lost their parents already.  Me included, but I had already lost my dad at age 10 (now it is just offically forever).

I have a son who just started Kindergarten this year!  OH MY GOSH!  It is so weird putting him on the bus and let alone to a school that used to be one of our rival schools.  It is the strangest feeling to not have him around the house asking questions during the day.  Wow before I know it he will be 33.

Does time really go this fast or are we all just too busy to stop and enjoy it?

I thought for sure things would slow down once I was a Stay-at-home-mom, but boy was I wrong.  I thought I would have more time to clean the house and take care of things here.  Actually, I think my house is dirtier than it has ever been and I get less done now then when I worked.

I don't get it.  I have less to do (without physically going to work everyday).  Yet it is nighttime before I know it and it doesn't even seem like the day has started yet.

I wonder if my grandmother felt this way?  Has it just started in the last century?  Is it our way of life?

Oh Lord, where does the time go?  Can we please slow it down?
