So I got my Ragu sauce and that night at 10:30 at night my family asks me to make spagetti!! So using what I had on hand I made this delicious concoction and my kids went wild. They loved it so much that we had it again the next night for dinner. I used the Ragu Traditional, which my kids loved because it was a classic, smooth sauce without "chunks" , which my children hate. Enjoy!
Spaghetti--Philly Cheesesteak Style
1 jar Ragu Traditional Flavor Sauce
6 slices of chipped steak (we used Steak-umms)
1 onion, sliced (optional,but delicious)
4-6 Slices of American Cheese (we used Kraft slices)
1 Pound Spaghetti
Hot pepper rings (optional)
Place water to boil in large pot for spaghetti. In large, deep frying pan break chipped steak into pieces and saute with onion until steak is browned. Add sauce and allow to simmer while you prepare the rest of the meal. Add spaghetti and boil until al dente. Drain. Place portion of spaghetti on each plate and top with 1 or 2 slices of american cheese. Pour desired amount of sauce over cheese. The hot sauce will melt the cheese into pure deliciousness. If desired, serve with hot pepper rings.
