I Have been so busy lately. I am starting a new business call BLESSED BEAD DESIGNS by Anji.
My husband has a business already and he is helping me to start mine.
Well about me I live in cali (bay area) with my 3 kids and my husband of 11yrs. I work part-time at night and during the day I am with my 2yr old taking care of home-I am what ya call one of those half and half moms, half home and half work.
MY WHITE HUBBY-I have always been attracted to white men. When I was growing up There were these group of black girls that lived by me, they were in their teens 15 or 16 something like that. I was about 8 and I remember them walking me home from school and talking about how cute the white guys were and the color of their hair and eyes. I really did not understand I guess cuz i was not into boys at that age. All the girls in that group went on to date and marry white men. When I got to high school I was the strange black girl, I listen to all types of music, dress in what I felt like that day, and I liked to meet new people. I found that I got along with white guys at my school, no particularly the girls. We'd go and hang out, talk about comic books and concerts. As my friendships started to grow into relationships I began to date all types of guy I guess cuz I grew up in a very and I do mean very multicultural area. But the guys who where my friends in the beganing were always there for me TILL THIS DAY.
I never felt excepted by my African American counter parts, I was either too white, acting white, or just could not relate no matter how hard I tried. They felt that I was fake, when I was just being me.
Well any who, Now that I am an adult I except people on a individual level-not grouping them into one race or another. I do prefer white men looks and what not, I love my people, I love being black, I keep an open mind and always a open heart.
