Time for this week's update. It's a quick one!
199 just minutes ago. Man I'm moving slow! But that's how we *keep* it off, right? Right.
I reorganized my household binder and have a dry-erase marker with which I can make notes on some page protectors. If I get a chance I'll take some pictures and post them (especially in the Stay At Home Wives group!). I'm keeping track of my weight loss and exercise there on it's own page and on the monthly calendar. Of course, this will all make much more sense once you can see the pictures! LOL
And I know, I have quite a few pics to post yet, I still haven't emptied the camera. Today I have the house to myself until about 2:30 when I go pick up the kids from school... meaning today is a mad-clean kind of day! When the house is empty like this, I like to pick up everything I can, make a huge mess of the floor, and get it all swept and mopped while no one's here to walk all over it! I'll admit, there are already a bunch of crumbs on the kitchen and dining room floors - but it's okay, I still have to clean the counters and table, so I won't sweep until around 1:30, then I can mop the dining/living room while I finish up the kitchen so I can mop that one next. Tomorrow I'll work on the bedroom floors and hallway. And of course at some point, I need to get the bathroom floor. I try to just sweep that out into the hallway and do both in the same day. Unfortunately there's hardwood in the hall, and linoleum in the bathroom, which means two different wet cleaners. P.I.T.A. But it's what I gotta do
So today's list involves laundry, floors, inventory & menu, and getting rid of some of the kids' things that don't need or use enough.
And now, for some Van Morrison.... it keeps me moving :-)
(From the Grateful Dead, earlier on my Aerobics playlist.... "I'm bloomin' like a red rose" - today that line just CLICKED for me. Now VM is singing "Starting A New Life".... I am turning myself around, now that there's no little people always yanking at me and asking tons of questions - I can take better care of myself, so that in turn I can take better care of my family and home. Feelin' good about ME! )
Have a wonderful week!!!
