I loved Rudy Guliani... I really wanted him to be the republican nominee for President but oh well... such is life. I think his speech was great. And, of course, Sarah palin's speech was awesome!! She nailed it. After listening to them, I felt proud to be an American :).  By the way....Palin's kid's names are  Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, and Trig....... what interesting names!!!!!!! To me, that adds to her awesome-ness factor :P.

I did watch.

Rudi made my stomach turn.  I thought he had more class than that.

Palin's speech disappointed me.  I had been looking forward to hearing her all day.  I felt as if I was watching an episode of Saturday Night Live, or a football pep rally.  She should have added more substance in to her speech.  I wanted to hear where SHE stands on issues, not where she feels Obama stands, not where McCain stands, we've heard all of that.  Where SHE stands.  Instead she filled the time with inside jokes and jabs.   That's a shame.

David...

Um, the DNC & RNC ARE pep rallies of sorts....

Anyway, I thought she was good.  I think he made an incredible pick w/ her.  She's one kick-ass chick!!! The issues will be discussed much more in the debates coming up, don't get your panties in knots people!

Yes, I do realize the are indeed pep rallies, of sorts.

Just not the sort of rally I had hoped to see and hear.

Lets hope she speaks for herself during any debates she finds herself in.

I really would like to hear her speak about something other than the dribble I heard this evening.

God forbid she take tonight's opportunity to let the American people see a side of her that relates to being the VP.

xoAly...

She did an amazing job. SO did Rudy... I thought it was hilarous when he said Biden should have gotten the VP thing in writing. hahah.. Way to sock it to them!! LOL. Palin is exactly what I was looking for, and because of her being the VP choice I give my full support to McCain. :)

I agree 100%! I thought I'd watch to get a better idea of what she has to offer as VP. I'm no better off than before I watched!

...Rudi...it looked like he was spitting on hisself!

I thought the whole thing was lame...mostly just a bunch of bashing towards Obama / Biden...I support Obama, last night just reinforced what I knew all along!
