Tried this recipe and loved it.  I added a little minced green pepper and onion to the meat mixture for flavor and it was a great addition!  The meatballs are great on sub buns with mozzarella cheese melted on top too!!!!!!!




MAMA'S BEST EVER SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS: $1.87 per serving 

A classic Italian-American dish that can be as simple or fancy as you want it to be.
Preparation time: 20 mins
Cook time: 20 mins
Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce
8 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained     
 
DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg in medium bowl.\
  2. Shape into 12 meatballs.
  3. Bring Pasta Sauce in 3-quart saucepan to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Gently stir in uncooked meatballs.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until meatballs are done.
  6. Serve over hot spaghetti and garnish, if desired, with grated Parmesan cheese.
