6 days past due

I am now 6 days past due. Getting more and more impatient. Definitly want this baby out, I'm dying to hold him. I spent wednesday in the hospital trying to be induced. They gave me the medicine at 9:30 in the morning and by 7:30 that night I was being discharged. The medicine worked alittle bit, just not the way it was suppose to. I was having contractions less than 2 minutes apart and they weren't very strong at all. That continued for the entire day and I was only dilated 1.5 cm when they sent me home. I've tried walking, tons of walking, i forced myself to clean my entire house again, i took my 3 year old to the park... I even tried castor oil. Nothing seems to be working, this baby seems determined to stay in there. Now I'm headed to the doctors to see if anything has changed, if not I'm scheduled to be induced again on monday. My fingers are crossed that I can do this on my own very soon. My sister-in-law's wedding is tomorrow night and my father-in-law is only in town until tuesday morning. Hopefully something will happen soon

UPDATE:

The doctor hooked me up to a monitor to see if i was having any kind of contractions. I was hooked up for 50 minutes and not a single one. I really hope this happens this weekend

Hang in there.  I was 12 days overdue and induced for 3 days before my son was born.  I guess he was just a fierce momma's boy from teh beginning.  The moment you see that baby, you will know it was well worth the wait.
