Baby Number 2...

I decided that I am going to start a little journal to update everyone about the pregnancy.......(got this idea from some one else)



Sept. 5, 2008- I am 7 weeks 5 days today. Monday I have my first appointment with the nurse to go over paper work and schedule my first appointment and first ultrasounds. Morning sickness has kicked in full force. I really must have blocked it out with Keegan cause I don't remember feeling this crummy. I will take it will open arms, however, it tells me things are going in the right direction. Other than that, my boobs are fuller and are starting to slowly get sore and I am tired all the time. I am so excite to be pregnant again and Keegan is happy to have his Pink Thomas, as he has named the baby. He has pretty much insisted that it will be a girl, that is why it is Pink Thomas, not Blue Thomas he said. haha!!! I haven't took a picture yet, but I need too and post it. Iwill get on that. I will update again on Monday after my appt.

Sept. 17th, 2008- Totally forgot to update on my appt. everything went good, met with the nurse went over health history and all that stuff. Then scheduled my ultrasound and first appointment, which is Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. Then went and got blood draw. Now we are up in WI. kind of had a scare, cause I started having some pain from the drive, then all my symptoms went away for a day or so. I am still having some pain, but it feels more like muscle pain than anything. Still having some morning sickness all day, but not as bad as it was......I would like to have it worse cause it lets me know things are going okay. I will feel better once I have that ultrasound and see our "Pink Thomas". Other than that things are going good. I expected my belly to be out more than it is being baby number 2 but it hasn't since about 7 1/2 weeks. More of an update later!

Oct. 1, 2008- Ultrasound was AWESOME baby looks good and is a stinker!!!   Everytime we could get a good look it would lay as still  as can be.  Then the Dr. wanted to get the heart rate and it just started moving around like crazy!!!!! 

Oct. 2, 2008- Had my first appt. with the dr.   Went in and got my weight and all that, everything looks good.  Then went into the room, the nurse tried to find the heart rate, but couldn't after about 4 mins so she said that she would have the Dr. take a look.  Dr. Paden is AWESOME!  I love her already.  She is chatty and funny.  I could actually tell she read my chart and know about my history and stuff.  She did a breast exam and checked everything inside.  Then right as the nurse was walking back in she said, I am not going to look stupid trying to find the heartbeat so you mom you don't mind if we do an ultrasound...Of course I didn't mind.  Got the heart rate, 164 and everything looks good.  Got some better pictures too!  Next appt is Oct. 31

Oct. 31, 2008-  So I know I haven't updated in a while.  I have been busy with work and stuff.  Plus I have been exhusted and having horrible headaches.  I went to the ER at around 13 weeks for some pain.  Said baby looked good and all.  I also have been to nuerology to see if they could do something about my headaches, but they basicly told me told me to come back and see them when I am not pregnant and to try and tough it out and not take my meds to often.   Thanks a lot!!!!   Anyway, I am now 15 weeks 4 days.  Was kind of paranoid cause my belly isn't growing as fast with this one as it was with Keegan.  I am starting to feel little movement but not a lot.  Nurse got my weight and bp and all that.   Then we went into the room and she found the heartrate....she said inthe 150's.   After that the Dr. came in, it was a different Dr. cause Dr. Paden is on leave.  Anyway, the Dr. was also GREAT!   She said we need to keep any eye on my blood pressure and asked about preeclampsia.  I told her I was induced early with Keegan because of it.   My weight was also good.  I don't think I have gained a thing! I was 160!   Other than that, everything is measuring right.  I go back in 6 weeks.  so I will be 21 weeks and she said to schedule my ultrasound, but Radiology told me I have to wait till I am 18 weeks to schedule it.   So I have to wait till next week to schedule my next OB appt. and till middle of Nov to schedule my ultrasound!  That's all for now!

November 5, 2008-Really started feeling baby move around and kick tonight.  Not just flutters, actual kicks.  Trying to time it right so Keegan can feel!!!  Daddy is off at Fex till the 18th so It is just Keegan and I till then!

Pink Thomas, that is ADORABLE!!! I hope your appt went well, let us know in an update:)!!

I had more nausea this time too, wonder if it comes with the more pregnancies you have or what:)! Timw ill go fast! when will your first u/s be? Hope to hear more soon and I love belly pics so get it rolling,lol;p

you know when i was preg with maddie as soon as we told the boys we were preg, jedi tells me that am having a girl cause we eat alot of pizza...lol..apperently if you eat alot of pizza while preg you'll have a girl, eat hambugers for a boy...i dont know about all that but i do know he was right about getting a sister...lol..
