A journey almost to it's end......

The 2008 has been a very trying journey for our family.........it's almost over. We finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I want to personally thank all my friends on cafemom who have said prayers for our family (especially on the behalf of my mother) and/ or kept us in there thoughts. I wanted you all to know she finished her last chemo treatment last friday and only major thing left is a surgery in october. That surgery is only to fix a abdominal hernia , but considering everything else( originial emergency to save her life, cancer dx, 2 more abdonimal additional surgeries, abdominal abscess and chemo) this should be a walk in the park comparatively. Now all we have left is the 5 year wait.......if she makes it cancer free for that long, she stands a good chance of it not coming back. Thank you all again for all your prayer and thoughts.
