BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Hi Everyone! I posted this in my group: The Chattanooga Events Group and wanted to share it here as well!

OK everyone, we all know that October is breast cancer awareness month. I don't know how many of you caught the Stand For Cancer last night, but it was pretty amazing.  I would like to do a little contest. 

Yo-plait Yogurt has pledged that they will give 10 cents for every lid collected to the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. Now if your interested in this little contest, the one who collects the most lids wins.

This would be a great way to get our kids involved as well!  If your interested add your name (and your child's) to this post.  As the collecting begins, email me here with the total amount collected by the end of each week.  Do not post it in here.

First Place- Kids first coupon book and a basket full of goodies.

Second Place- 2 dozen cookies or a dozen muffins

 

I think this is a win, win situation.  I personally will not be in the contest, however I WILL be collecting right along with you.  In fact, Monday Carson Rose's Kindergarten will receive letters about this and be sent home so that we might get others involved in the giving while sending an important message to our youngins!

Please get involved. Remeber Breast Cancer doesn't just affect one it affects EVERYONE!

Hi , I would love to help, My best friend last week found out that she has Breast Cancer, Whatever we can do to help we all need to do it.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but so very pleased you want to help. I posted this in all 15 of my groups and in my journal. but your only the 4th person to even say they want to help! I don't understand it. It's so easy. just eat yogurt, or get the lids from someone that does and i even made it into a contest to try to get more support. my mother is a survivor and my grandmother is currently fighting it. Even if I didn't know anyone, I still think this is a great cause to support! Thanks for yours!

Ok maybe a dumb question but how is this goin to work? Do we get them to you to count or do you take us on our word of how many we have and we just send them in?
