Hey all, I just thought I would update everyone on how she is doing.

Meghan has GERD along with a Milk Protein allergy and a soy allergy. She also can't digest proteins. She has had problems since she was about a month and a half old. She is now 4 and a half months and we still have alot of problems. She has tried just about every formula and the Ped. GI just recently switched her formula to a very expensive prescription one called NeoCate Infant. It's hypoallergenic, amino acid based and completely hydrolyzed. She is currently on Zantac and was on Prevacid but was switched off of it and started on Prilosec oral suspension(liquid form). She spits up constantly and projectile vomits on occasion. By the time she's due for her next bottle she has spit up about half, maybe more of the previous feeding. We deal with pain and food refusal on a daily basis. She still "spazzes" alot through feeds. She's hungry but when she starts to drink the belly starts to hurt and about 45 seconds to a minute into the bottle she looks as though she's convulsing. But she's not. That's just her throwing her body back and forth cause it hurts. I cry alot because I feel as though there is nothing I can do for her and it sucks. She does a little bit better when there is rice cereal in her bottle because it's heavier but it still hurts. She has good days and bad days. She will have a 2 day period where she is in pain almost all day, cranky and won't nap/eat.....just cry and then the next day she will sleep for pretty much the whole day from just sheer exhaustion. She needs what feels like constant attention. All in all, she's expensive but still adorable.

That's my Meghan. Thanks for listening.
