Trust is number one. You have to have trust in your relationship. You have to be able to trust each other, that is the foundation to any good relationship. A sense of humor is also a wonderful thing to have in a partner. Life can be hard and you have to be able to laugh about it and at each other. Intelligence is also important to me more than appearance. I need someone who stimulates me intellectually and whom I can converstate with. When we are old, and wrinkly, and 100 years old I need someone who can talk to me and still make me laugh.
