Why I love Jason

My husband and I met through a mutual friend.  I went with her to her visit one of her friends who was at her boyfriend's house at the time. We knocked on the door and her boyfriend's best friend answered the door.  It was very strange, almost like he was wearing a sign that said "Here I am!."   Our mutual friend introduced us.   She told me that he did card tricks and that he should show me one.  Which he did, and it was very impressive.  He reminded me of a surfer dude, not the type I usually am attracted to immediately, but I was immediately attracted to HIM and very curious about him.  My first impressions of him were:

1. Confidence

2. Friendliness

3. Sense of Humor

Also, I will add the other things that I first noticed about him

4. Open

5. Upbeat, Positive

6. Fun, Playful

7. Affectionate

After my friend and I left that night and went on our way and did our thing, my mind kept wandering back to him.  When we were about to part company, I told her to give him my number the next time she saw him.  (Totally out of character for me.)  In fact he was also asking her about me and we ended up exchanging phone numbers through our friend.  He called me about a week later and we went out for our first date on June 9, 2000.  We were married on June 9, 2001.  We had our first baby girl on August 30, 2002 and our second daughter on July 15, 2005.  We've been seperated twice (for about 2-3 months in 2006 and for 6 months in 2007)  So, we've had our share of problems, but we still love each other, now more than ever.  We are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep a happy marriage.  God has been very good to us.

I also met my husband through a friend, but he was expected to "make friends" with Mary. My husband and I clicked. We aren't clicking anymore.

I want

1. Someone who listens and HEARS me when I talk.

2. A man who loves his kids.

3. Someone who's there for me, even when I'm ugly.
