OK for all my friends I am making this very easy on myself.  Here is Miles's story and everything I know so far i will update this as much often as I know something.

Miles Came into this world at 8:25am on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008.  Had a C-section scheduled for noon that day but went into labor Thursday afternoon.  His Apgar scores were 9 at 1 min and 9 at 10 mins.  Very Good.  He was having a little trouble breathing and the doc and nurses thought that it was because of him being born a c-section.  One of the nurses came in and checked his vitals and went out and right away another nurses came in and listen to his heart.  All thew out that day a different nurses came into check his vitals (thought something was up but was to out of it to care) Miles was having trouble breathing that he would not breast feed and had different people try and have him latch onto my breast with different positions but nothing worked.  That night they took him to the nursery and told me that he would be back when he got hungry and that night he came back once and did nurse a little bit.  Saturday morning the doc came in and told everyone that he needed quiet and that everyone had to leave.  He then said that a couple of the nurses heard a heart murmur and he wanted to listen.  He said that he did not hear it but just to be safe he wanted him to go to the nursury for an hour to be put on a monitor to see if that could pick it up.  this was at 11:00am.  12:30 one of the nurses came in and asked it I was OK and if i needed anything and I said that i want to know that is taking them so long with my son.  She went to check and another nurse came in and told me that his Oxygen saturation level was low 87% in his lower half so the moved it to his upper half and it was up to 93% where is should be.  They called the doc and he wanted then to do a echo and an EKG to see if they could find out why and they have no one there on Saturday to read them so they were being sent to Hershey Medical Center to be looked at.  The EKG came back that there was an abnormality with the heart and the echo was very fuzzy so Hershey wanted to do the test again with there machines so he was sent up to Hershey at 12:07am Sunday.  They were not going to do any test until the next morning but the doc and I decided that if something would happen he would be better up there where they can treat him.  Eco and EKG came back that there was a hole in his heart that is called a possible right coronary to right atrial fistula.  Plus fetal lung fluid.  Repeated the echo and EKG on Tuesday and was determined that it is not doing any damage to the heart and that it is safe for him to go home after his little snip on Wed.  Did not need surgery at the current moment and just monthly visits to the heart doc.  The doc is hoping that the hole will close on it own and that the fluid on the lungs is gone.  Second doc said the same thing and how the hole is it is taking good blood into the bad instead of the bad blood into the good.  I just have to keep my eyes open for signs of heart problems.  Just keep Miles in your prayers.  I hope he does not need surgery but if he does it will be done at one of the best hospitals in the country.  Any more questions just ask me.

Wow.  That sounds like some ordeal.  I am glad that he seems to be doing better.  I hope that the hole corrects itself and that everything is ok with him.  I will keep you both in my prayers!
