My doctor said......

I broke down and went back to the doctor on Thursday. The antibiotics that I was on for my sinus infection weren't working and I just felt terrible and had been running fever as well so I knew I needed to go back.
I was basically told that I had to quit everything none essential in my life. My blood pressure was really high and my pulse rate was 115. Neither of which is good when you have my personal and family history with heart problems. I got my antibiotic changed and was started on high blood pressure meds ( my BP has always been high but it has gotten to the point that I need meds now), and I have to have some tests run to check my thyroid and some other things as well. Thyroid issues run in my family and could explain alot of what's been going on with me lately.
I have just basically slept for days now. My cousins that raised me came in Friday night and I was so happy to see them. I hated that I felt so bad. They mean so much to me and they more than understood, but I still felt bad anyway!
We had the annual Peanut Festival this weekend as well. Wes and the kids were all in the parade. Jessica and Micheala marched with the band, Erin & Sarah were on the Girl Scout float we put together, and Tucker was on the firetruck with his buddies, Matthew & Tristin. That was Friday afternoon and on Saturday, Wes and a few firemen set up the water polo game and the kids just LOVE playing that every year!
I felt good enough to go to the festival for about an hour Saturday and managed to get some good pictures. Jan and I walked around looking at vendors and things for a bit but I soon ran out of energy and had to go home and rest. It was a good weekend though, in spite of me feeling drained.

hey sissy,i am sorry you aren't feeling good. I tried to get in touch with you couple of times today. I left you a message on the machine. I hope yall are ok in all this weather and etc. but looked on the map yall just gonna get a butt load of rain i hope! Love the pics of the kids!! miss you so much
