We moved recently and our 3.5yo daughter has made friends with a 7yo little girl who lives next door. The 7yo has two brothers, ages 4 and 10. Every time my daughter invites the little girl over, her two brothers come, too. The two boys ignore my children (who are MUCH younger than they are) and just play with their toys.

With the 3 neighbor kids and my 2, that makes 5. They run throught the house and just tear it up! I have no problem with the 7yo coming over (my daughter LOVES her!) but I'd rather the two boys didn't come over.

How do I say this to the mother? What do I do if the boys keep showing up? I can't just send them home without their sister, can I?

Well, it looks like she is taking advantage of you, getting time to herself.  You need to be honest with her, that her to the fact that all 3 are too much.  Tell her with the pregnancy you are just too exhausted, it's true I bet.   But you may have to compromise a bit and let the boys come every third time or something.....  That's up to you.  She may be willing to return the favor and watch an extra of yours sometimes, who knows.

At any rate, don't let it go too long, it'll be your loss.  It's happened to me too.
