This photo and others in my photos were taken in Lubbock Texas in 2007 at the Flag Memorial for 911.

I wanted to share these and more with my Cafe Mom friends.  Please check out my photos.

I pray I will always be free to share as I like with others.  Free to communicate on sites like Cafe Mom.  Free to say I am a Christian, free to worship freely.  I am so glad I am free to speak out when I think I see an injustice and free to stand up and say I am an American.

I was born in the USA, in Texas.  I am free to come and go as I please.  To travel to any town, on any road, at any given hour of the day or night.  I am free to pray this prayer.  I am free and I thank God I am free.  I am free to give Him thanks and the Glory is His forever.

This is freedom!  I am free!

So many died in the tragedy of 911.  I was just out of surgery (open bone biopsy) when I heard the news.  The pain of thousands families cut through my heart.  I was so numb and speechless, saddened at the loss of life... I did have one thing which came to my mind during the telecast and news broadcast and all the details and such.  I learned something on September 11th.  Something I hadn't given much thought to before.

All of those who lost their lives...

They died free.

I hope that doesn't sound cold or like it is some consolation to anyone for their death.  It isn't intended to be in sensitive on my part.  I learned that day that is something that cannot be said about everyone.  Not everyone dies free.

May they have an everlasting peace and rest.

My prayers are with their friends and families always.

Thank you to all those who serve ( and to their families) to protect our country and keep it free.  You sacrifice so much for others.  Thank you!

Love and hugs to all ~ Jeanne K. Davis
