Being a Grammy

22 years ago if you asked me what was the most important job I could ever do, I would have said being a mom. I feel like I have been a pretty good mom to my 3 wonderful children. They have blessed me in many ways. I have not always done to right things but in every situation I done what I felt was right. So many regrets. I will never forget the day my oldest daughter told me she and her husband were going to have a baby. I have never been so happy. I thought the news of my own pregnancies made me happy but to know I was going to be a Gramma made me feels so maqny things. Then I remembered my daughters as little girls. (My girls were only 17 months apart.) First steps, first words, so many memories flashing through my mind. Then it hit me. My baby girl was going to be a mommy. WOW! It was such a joy to be in the room when our little Anisa came into the world. Now my daughter is learning what a joy it is to be a mommy. What joy you feel when your child does all the first. I am sdo lucky to be the mother of 22 and 21 year olde girls, and a 9 year old son, but even luckier then that I now have a special name. Now I am Grammy to my baby girl's baby girl.
