Hello ladies! I am making wearable ribbons for more awareness for all of those who suffer, have family members that suffer from incurable or curable illnesses or diseases, or support of our military, or just want to support friends and family.
I have the following samples to show my work, these can all be made in the yarn color of your choice. They can be made for a child or adult, and there are different styles and types of yarn.
I am starting to make scarves in school colors as well. I can make them in any color combinations and in any of the styles that I have posted. They are made in all sizes and for any gender. For more colors, you can click on this link and see more yarn styles, finished products.
I have also gotten into the holiday spirit, I have 2 halloween scarves completed and I am hoping to post them tomorrow.
I thought that making them in any colors would help, I know personally that times are tough for everyone, so I wanted to give more options, if you choose your colors and they are not associated with a ribbon color or cause, please let me know what organization that you would like a donation to go to.
I have started making scarves for next month in pink and white for breast cancer awareness.

This is a passion for me, something I enjoy and another way to get the attention that all illness and diseases deserve. There are so many types of illness, and disease out there that do not always get the recognition that they deserve. Some are curable and some are not. My costs are low due to the fact that I personally do not feel I should charge for my time.
More about me
My name is Jennifer, I am a stay at home mom to 4 kids and a wife to a wonderful man. I myself have Multiple Sclerosis, I was diagnosed in October of 2007, matter of fact October 25th will be my " 1st year " of a life changing diagnosis.
I personally feel that this is my mission in life, when I first found out about my MS I had a lot of questions, MS is a disease that not many know about. So once I became informed, I felt to get the research and recognition that MS needs for a cure, that I had to become a voice for my illness. My son has become an ambassador for MS as well. He taught his entire junior high school ( over 1000 kids) about MS and what the symptoms were.
Many a time you may walk down the street and see a person who does not "Look Sick" but inside they are suffering in ways you may never know. So when some one tells you they are ill or have a disease, please to do not tell them they don't look sick, tell us we look great, ask us questions and learn more. MS is not curable, my husband lost his mother to MS, it took 23 years of his life with his mother from him. Imagine finding out that your wife has it, it was the hardest day of my life with him.
I am not asking you to just support my MS, I am asking you to show your support for yourself, your family, your friends, and even people you may never know. We all need funding for research, especially for those that cannot be cured like myself.
I make these scarves with the love and emotion and passion that I have to learn, live and love with. I want a cure just as anyone else does, I want to know that if my daughter was to be diagnosed, that the research is out there and the funding as well for a cure.
We need to show more compassion for others, we need more respect and most of all we need AWARENESS!!!!
I will be working on a website soon, hopefully if this takes off, I will also be adding charms or buttons to them as well. Eventually a portion of each sale will go to the society of each ribbon color, such as Cancer, Organ Donation, MS, and so on.
I have so many ideas that I want to do with these. My passion for this project is out of control, but I know with the love and support of my friends and family, I can do this, even on the worst of days.
I will never give up my fight for a cure. I have 4 beautiful faces to get out of bed for everyday and a wonderful man to love me when I am down and catch me when I fall ( which is daily LOL!). On the days I want to just give up, I come here and see how many dear and wonderful friends I have and it means so much to me!
So please take a look and think about what you will be doing for yourself or others. I ask you to vote popular, check back often as I will post pics of finished products and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell your friends how to find me. We all love someone that may or may not be ill now or eventually!
Here is a link to ribbon colors and meanings.
Thank you so much, Jennifer!
