Obama: What Change Can He Bring?

This is in answer to this Question. "What kind of change do people think Obama can bring?"
My answer was so long I had to create this journal post...lol..
In a nutshell, Obama is God's answer to the ridiculous and dangerous condition our beloved country is in.
- He will bring respect back to the USA in the eyes of the world. He understands that we need to re-build our alliances with other nations to affectively fight terrorism, that our security relies in part on this. Obama had a quarter of a million Germans waving American flags. Don't you think there's a good chance he'll be effective at shaping up our global image? McCain is jealous of and doesn't have that power. Palin would make our country look like a joke. They will only isolate us more than Bush did and that would make us more of a target for terrorists.
- Obama is an American who can identify with many different types of other Americans, not just a particular type of citizen. He reflects the great and unique diversity of our country. He has the ability to mobilize average Americans... he gets his money from ordinary people 2.5 million of us who send our little $5 checks regularly. A far cry from McCain who has lobbyists already installed in his administration should he win. Check McLobbyist.com.
- Obama is an intelligent man who actually thinks before he says something! Obama was right about Iraq, he was right about Afganistan and even the White House has followed his advice. He advocated talking to our enemies and the White House started doing it with North Korea. It worked! He advocated a timeline for withdrawal in Iraq. And the White House is doing it! He said the hunt for Bin Laden should have been taken to Afganistan and that we should have held Pakistan more accountable. And he is right!
Did you not see all the generals and veterans lined up on the stage for Obama at the convention? How many generals and veterans do you see lined up for McCain? Haven't you seen the hypocrisy of a former POW who doesn't want to support veterans when they come home after fighting for us? Obama supports the vets and that's why they respect him.
So when he says the only people who will get a tax raise under his administration are people who make MORE THAN 250k a year, does this not sound like a change to you! Especially since it's been the other way under the Republicans for the last 8 years. The richest 1 percent is paying less taxes while we pay more than ever before.
If you don't know anything about Obama, why don't you invest time in reading his policies? He's got a website full of information that's been up for a long time. WWW.BARACKOBAMA.COM. He's got excellent plans for education. McCain does not. Obama has excellent plans for creating millions of jobs for AMERICANS. McCain does not. Obama has excellent plans for healthcare. McCain does not. Obama is the only one with a plan and a vision that will benefit our children's long term future. McCain will re-institute the draft and our precious little baby boys, and maybe even baby girls, will bear the brunt of this country's ignorance if we put McBush in the White House
We as voters can go in a direction where we all accept that although we as Americans are different we are all in the same boat. Our economy is tanking and in the first time in this country's modern history, we're looking at NOT being able to give our children a better life than we have. This has nothing to do with race, gender or ethnicity. WE ARE ALL SCREWED IF WE ELECT JOHN MCCAIN.
The Republican party has brought this country down below the dirt - Bush's administration waged an illegal war which has killed many of our young men and women for OIL. Al Quaida is stronger than EVER. Osama Bin Laden is still alive and in command. Haliburton and Exxon are making billions while you are paying over 4.00 a gallon for gas. Major banks are failing while major American landmarks are being bought by foreigners.
Meanwhile people around the world are laughing at us as we actually consider Sarah Palin for VP. A shrill, beauty pageant contestant who never even left the country before last year and took 6 years to earn a bachelors degree.
Get real ladies! If you really think that McCain...
a man who not only admitted he voted with Bush 90% of the time, but also cheated on his devoted and crippled wife and mother of three children and left her for a rich tramp who he married a month after getting a divorce...
a man who uses every opportunity to pimp his POW status as the only reason we should elect him...
a man who doesn't even know how to use a computer (how will he even command a defensive against the Chinese hacking into the Pentagon, which they've already done several times over the past year)
a man who even Karl Rove called a liar... hello!
how can you in your gut believe this is what our country needs right now?? I mean seriously!!! You may hate Obama for whatever reason you do but you cannot as a mother honestly tell me that your children's futures are better off in the hands of an OLD MAN like John McCain!
And if you are a racist, vote for the white half of Obama! It's better than McCain.
I am an Independent. I supported McCain years ago when he was still a maverick. But the McCain we see now is a shell. He sold his soul to get into the White House. He makes jokes about rape, he called his wife the C word, treated his first wife worst than a dog and now expects women who supported Hillary to fall in line with him because Palin has a vagina! He is pimping Palin and she's either too greedy or too stupid to care.

I just wonder where is going to get the funding to make these changes he is promising. Unless he can cut pork spending dramatically, I am not sure he will be able to finance his dreams for America. He sounds like another NEW DEALER like former President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Just my opinion, okay? I'm not bashing - only questioning.
That's a good question. He wants to cut down spending in Iraq (10 billion a mnth) and I wonder if he has his eye on any of that 70 billion surplus that Iraq has, some of it sitting in a New York bank collecting interest now http://www.lancastereaglegazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080913/OPINION01/809130318 as he has mentioned it many times. Besides raising taxes on people who make more than 250,000 a year, it's not clear. I respect the fact that he has given these matters obvious thought and have faith in his even keeled judgement and intelligence. When I see what he's done in terms of mobilizing the American people and their loyalty in funding his campaign it just seems like he's the better choice for our broken economy.

Sorry sweetie, Barack Obama is a child of God just like you and if you disagree with this, feel free to rail against our Creator in another post of your own. But don't tell me what my opinion should be, what I should write or what "we" the American people want! God bless America!
