Who Are You and Why Do You Exist? September 16th, 2008 Have you thought about that? I bet you have. I think everyone wonders at times who they really are and why they are here. if you have been reading me for any time at all, you know that I believe God made each of us with a grand plan in mind. You are not a mistake, and accident, or an evolved hunk of scum. You are the beautiful creation of a loving God. That is a given. So who are you? Why are you here? Do you know? Do you really? You have talents that are there for a purpose. It is up to you to find out what those talents are, and how to best use them. You need to be making a difference. Living day to day is not enough. It needs to count for something. You are not here to take up space! You are so very important! Your life was designed to meet a specific need in a specific place in time. NOW! No one else can do what you can do. No one can fill your shoes. There are specific special things that you alone were made to do. If you don’t know what they are, it is time you began to find out. Start with prayer. Ask God to show you. Then Look and Listen! Be open to the answer. Sometimes I think we ask God questions, not expecting him to answer. We don’t bother to listen at all. Listen, listen, listen. Keep your heart and your eyes open. What is your burning bush? What has God put right in front of you that you are not seeing? What thought comes over you again and again that you ignore? What little voice do you hear, but refuse to believe it is for you? This is MY world. It is MY time. I need YOU! This is YOUR world. It is YOUR time. You need ME! I need you to do your part, and you need me to do mine. And the lovely thing about it is that we each have a part! We each have a staring role in this world.
