Okay, I have 9 month old twins and a 21 month old.

My 21 month old takes milk in the bottle still...but I pretty much can use the same bottle for her whenever she needs milk.

But the boys are still eating every 3-4 hours....2 bottles each feeding...I'm soooooooooooo tired of washing bottles...maybe I need more...

How many bottles do you have??  Only counting the ones you use for formula feeding...I say this cause I have short ones for juice...but I'm only counting tall ones for feedings...I only have 12!!

Your 21 month old is still using a bottle?  You need to buy her some sippy cups.  I think for twins I would have at least 24 bottles.  When I had babies we made up formula enough for a 24 hour period. It was just easier that way.  I'd start the twins on sippy cups now too but slowly. 2 bottles at a time is a lot.  Are they on solid food?

They each don't eat two bottles at a feeding...I'm using 2 bottles at each feeding...one for each of them!!  :0)  They are on solids...I pretty much feed them what ever we are eating if it's not a choking hazard and they also get the Gerber Graduate meals & snacks...they love eating solids!!!  Sarah is not on a bottle all day...she drinks juice out of the sippy cup...but at nap time and bed time she has a bottle of milk...she prefers not to have her milk in the sippy cup...this is being talked about on BabyCenter on our December '06 board today!!  Someone was very mean to a mommy asking about bottles...I don't pre-make the formula...cause they like their bottles warm...so it's faster for me to get warm water from faucet, rather than heating up the already made bottle...yeah...I haven't really followed the "norm" on any of my children and they are all working out fine...it would be hard to take her bottle away with two other babies having one in front of her...but as I said...she doesn't walk around with one in her mouth!!  Oh, she still uses her pacifier too!! LOL  :0)  I've never really had to "take" the bottle away from my children...they just stop...so I'm thinking it'll be pretty soon...and it'll probably be all three of them at once!!smile mini

When I bottle feed I take  the bottle away at 11months and replace with sippy cups. When my twins were that age I made 12 bottles a day for them. I had 12 bottles that I kept in the cabinets and 12 that I used for the day. They started drinking milk at 10 1/2 months and were formula free at 11 months. I never introduced milk in a bottle but in a sippy cup.
