♥ Binky's, Babies & Bottles...Oh My!! ♥

♥ Well...to be honest I collect quite a few things. Wrinkles, junk, toys & Dust Bunnies to name a few! But my top 3 collections are...

#1 - Babies!!! And you all know that I would love to add to that collection!

#2 - Majolica Pottery...This collection has actually gotten a bit smaller over the years! Just today one of the "pieces" from my #1 Baby Collection- (Which will remain nameless) broke a favorite pottery piece! Oh well!

#3 - Pacifiers!! Yes Binky's! Not the real ones though. 15 long years ago when Danny & I started trying for a baby, I started collecting anything "baby". Especially Pacifiers! I have Gold, Silver, Blown Glass, Pottery, Crystal ones. My favorites are 2 Gold ones. During our Journey to Babyville, Danny wore 1 on a Gold chain around his neck and I wore the other on my Anklet.

 

              

We only took them off one time. That was to have them Blessed when we Renewed Our Vows on our 10th Wedding Anniversary on November 29th, 1996. The next year Danny gave me a very Special Charm Bracelet on Mother's Day with a note telling me that he knew I would soon be celebrating this day in a very different way...

 

 

   

 

I wore that Bracelet and we wore those Pacifiers nonstop for Years and Years! I refused to take them off even for my C-section! The Nurse had to tape a Surgical Glove around my wrist before I went in (I have worn it for each of those special "Birthdays"). 

 

Then we had the Gold Chain Danny was wearing his Charm on cut in half to make 2 Necklaces and each of our Precious Boys wore those Pacifiers close to their hearts until they passed them down to their Little Sisters...

 

     

 

     

 

They (the Kiddos & the Pacifiers) will always be so very special to me! ♥
