Hurricane damage pics....

We faired the Hurricane weather pretty well here in Alto, just a few fallen trees in the backyard....and of course no lights for almost a week..they just got them on this afternoon...about an hour ago...
My moms house in Rusk however did not fair as well.....pics below...
The first few pics are just pics of the trees in my back yard....
and the following pics are pics of my mom and dads house in Rusk....The winds took the roof right off the back of the house...and now they are having to stay in their 5th wheel until they get everything repaired..the only 2 rooms in the whole house that werent demolished were my 13 yr. old sons room and the bathroom........
The next pic is where my dad is trying to replace some of the roof by adding tin to it to cut down on the weather damage until he gets everything remodeled...
This is where the roof landed..right in front of the house on top of moms favorite wisteria vine...
The above pic is where the wind tried to start taking the front of the roof also...but it didnt quite get to take it all...hell, the back part was bad enough...

Im so sorry that happened to you guys! But the main thing is that your okay! Good luck with all the repairs and stuff!

So we had to fix the roof of the mobile and forgo the garage! Hope your insurance is better than ours!! Glad to see your alive!!!"
Sadly, mom and dads insurance had lapsed a few months ago and they didnt realize it until about 2 weeks before IKE hit...they tried to call the insurance man then and have him come out so they could renew, but he never showed up.......SO THEY HAVE TO DO THE REPAIRS ON THEIR OWN.
Just wanted to let you all know that FEMA got back in touch with my parents and as of tonight they will be paying for them to stay in a 2 br 1 and a half bath apartment...everything is furnished....bedding, dishes, electricity, water, gas...all they have to take is their clothing and food!!!!!! and they are permitted to stay there as long as they need to get the repairs done!!!
PRAISE GOD FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS!!!
