The blessings during no power...

In every thing give thanks...

Thank you God for the provision for our family during our dry hurricane!

Thank you God for moving us to a house with no trees! You knew all along!

Thank you for church outside! It was a blessing-despite my 12 mosquitoe bites! YIKES! (prep for Africa)

Thank you God for no tv so I wasnt tortured with hours of Pinky Dinky Doo!

Thank you God for brothers who love each other! I have the best boys!

Thank you God for a church family that takes care of each other!

Thank you God for cell phones that make great flashlights in the bathroom!

Thank you God for all the candles being gone at the store except the clean linen scent which is my favorite anyways! Smells so good!

Thank you for Knife Sharpeners that make a great tool to break up a sheet of ice in the bottom of the freezer.

Thank you for candle lite and hubbalicious! A good combo! He is so romantical!

Thank you for cup o noodles and pots that work on the grill.

Thank you for my family, despite the dysfunction!

Thank you for my inlaws coming to our rescue...Bless them richly!

Thank you for sending us things to prepare us for the future...these things will just continue to happen.

Thank you for teaching me to use things for growth and prep.

Thank you for making me think of and long for Africa during a power outage

Blessings of the lights back on:

COLD COKE! FULL ICE TRAYS! STARBUCKS IS OPEN! (which by the way-there is a Starbuck's in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania-I saw it online! hehe God loves me!)

Movies to get the boys to sleep....

No wasting my cell phone battery for a bathroom light...

No noisy generators in the neighborhood...

I can close the windows at nite and not have to hear our drunk neighbors partying out back...

Opportunities to bless others!

School is back open! Even though they are too dumb to let us know!

Thank you for sending us our power back 4 days earlier than they told us! I love Hot Water!

Thank you that we didnt have the water that others had with this storm...For our safety!

Thank you for the friends that were praying! God bless those who had it worse!

Thank you for being my Daddy all the time that I can come to you boldly and unapoligetically and let you know my needs, my worries, my frustrations, my thanks, my love...Thank you for my salvation and the heart to want others to know you!
