First let me thank each and every one of you who sent up a good thought, a powerful prayer, whatever it is that you do...
My mom took off last Saturday to go back home for her anual vacation... and her sister, mother and her drove down to MO to see my Aunt and cousin (see previous blogs about Kyle battling hodgkins), and they got there just in time... The Dr's came in today, to tell them its time to pull the plugs, the machines are only keeping him alive at this point... My heart is breaking... I'm not quite sure how to feel... As much as I know God has a plan for him... I just don't understand it.. He has fought so hard, so strong, so much... Over the last 5 years... He's gone through many bouts of Chemo, getting sick and still standing tall... He had a bone marrow transplant and suffered with that... But no matter what, he didn't let it bring him down.. He stood tall, he stood strong... He kept on... The last month he's been in the hospital, still fighting with all he has left... Though its not much..
Anyway, my Uncle JP can't let go... He's not giving permission to pull... While he knows its best, Kyle and him were very close... They did everything together... I can't even imagine his pain, my Aunt's pain... Losing your child... I'm glad that my mom is there, as we lost my brother back in 94', when he was only 17 yrs old... So she can support my Aunt and understand her pains... But I just wish I could be there for my cousin Mandy... I feel so awful, I sit here and cry as I type this... my heart knows the pain she has in store...
So thank you for all your prayers, good thoughts, love, warm wishes and so much more...
Charlene
