Pink Ninjas Attacking Cancer!!!

Team: Pink Ninjas, ready for battle! My team for the Yoplait Yogurt, 10th annual Save Lids to Save Lives effort, is the Pink Ninjas. This is a group of wonderful ladies that I have met here on Cafemom. In order to hustle them up for a wonderful challenge, (collecting lids) I have inspired them with a team challenge.
I have asked the group to compete against each other in sending me as many lids as they can get- from friends, family, schools, scouting and troops! The team member to send me the most lids- will win a prize! I am encouraging them to get out into the community and raise awareness- not only am I working here in my home town, but we are stretched across the US working to do our part... in our stealthy ninja ways- we will do our part to help raise awareness and raise money!
Personally, I have emailed ALL of my friends and family asking them for their support. I will continue this course of action, until they can stand me no more! I have also contacted every school in my city- ( quite a few, actually!) and have asked them to help me by having a collection competition as well! I offered to come in and give a talk, if they wanted, and am willing to pony up the funds to celebrate the winning group's effort with a movie party filled with popcorn and, of course, Yoplait Yogurt!
I have also contacted my local store managers and asked to place collection boxes in their stores... I have not heard back from any of them, hmm... But I have printed off 30 fliers to put near all the mailboxes in my apartement complex- reminding residents to buy and save the lids! To be sure they get mailed out- I have a collection box on my door and at the front office!
In all, I don't know how many lids I will collect- but I'm working on this project as hard as I can.
Ladies- please don't let my efforts go in vain! Buy some yogurt- lick those lids- and mail them out!

I will force my family to eat enough yogurt that we're constipated and don't want to eat yogurt for another year, I promise! :D
