Seriously.  I'm tired of reading posts/questions/answers that look like this:

I'm so afraid of lossing him, I just don't no what to do.  My family isn't suportive, there like "your to smart for him" But I loovve him SOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!

(Not a real post, I made it up for examples of common errors.)

If you can't see what's wrong with those two sentences, you're part of the problem.  There is a Spell Checker BUILT IN to the response box, USE IT.  And since it wouldn't pick up on "no", "there", "your" or "to" in the above example, might I suggest revisiting 4th grade English?  I know there are some young moms here, but that's NOT an excuse.  How will you help your kids with their homework if YOU can barely construct a coherent sentence?
God bless America!

True, people need to sharpen their skills in writing.   I too, have been very surprised at the number of women who don't seem to know how poor their writing is.  I don't mean to sound snotty, but some people have learning disabilities, and  some moms are just busy and frustrated and want to reach out to people.  Back off, take a breath, and either start teaching adult classes in a constructive, positive way, or learn to let this go.  No one should ever bash another's attempts to reach out.

It gets on my nerves too.  I type fast but I always use punctuation and spell my words correctly.

Wow.  I was unaware that writing a JOURNAL qualified "teaching adult classes" in any way.  Silly me.  And I wasn't bashing their attempts to reach out, I was bashing their failure to click the "check spelling" button, and ability to identify the difference between "your" and "you're".  It's a simple contraction.  Everyone here went to first grade.

Amen to that, Live4HerSmile!  It is just plain scary, the amount of illiteracy that I encounter on a daily basis.  It is frightening to realize that these are the people that will be supposedly making decisions that will effect my life and the future of our country.

I can deal with some minor grammatical mistakes. We all make them occasionally. But some of these posts are ridiculous. I can't even comprehend some of the things people write.

Thank you for saying what I wanted to say, but was to chicken to admit. :)
