Thankfully this didn't happen to me tonight! But, I was able to witness it.
We haven't been out of the house much lately for fun, so my husband took us out tonight. We went to Cracker Barrel which is my favorite place. We can eat there for the same price of fast food. Anyway, I went to the restroom before our meal came. I heard a little girl talking when I walked in, but couldn't understand what she was saying.
I go into my spot as mom and daughter come out of theirs. Then I hear the little girl in her precious voice begin to speak to her mother.
She said, "Mom, it smells kind of farty in there. Pewwwie"
It was all I could do not to laugh out loud. That poor mom said, "SHHHHH!" I had to stand real still in my stall or I would have lost it. There is nothing in this world that would have made me do anything to further embarrass this mom. We never got a look at each other so neither one of us would have known it if we crossed path's later. I am thankful for that for her sake.
I can feel for that mom. My personal embarrassing moment tonight came when my oldest decided to cut one in a wooden chair. Neither of us heard it, so no one else did either. Except our youngest. And he just had to tell us that the oldest did it. I am grateful that no one else heard it.
So, I feel for all mom's everywhere that have embarrassing moments. I would like to tell you that as they get older, it gets better. But, in reality, it doesn't. I will say that after discussing the situation with his dad, our oldest won't be letting it rip in public anymore, lol.
