First off, I do not want to hear anyone's beliefs against the celebration, I am not up for that arguement tonight. We trick or treat, that is it. The kids dress up for the candy.
Took my daughters to check out Halloween costumes. We started at Wal Mart, and Target then moved on to the Party store. All I can say is WOW!
When did the costume manufacturers decide it was ok to dress our litte girls like prostitutes? I swear, I am just draping my girls in sheets and cutting holes for their eyes! We will not be purchasing a costume this year, my girls are going to use their imagination and create their own, with coverage!
What happened to the plastic costumes we had as kids? The ones that covered your body, had a mask and we were super happy with them. I remember one Halloween when I was little with this inflatable thingy that went on my head, think it was a spider or something. My Mom made a lot of our costumes, so maybe I am shetered in the fact that pre-made costumes are trashy.
Just a vent I guess, apparently someone is buying them or else they wouldn't be so popular right?
