A Blessing For A Blessing

[3Nesters]

I was working in my shop one day last week, when a lady came in. She was in the shop for a short time when her cell phone rang. I really didn’t mean to ease drop but couldn’t help it she was loud. She was pretty mad at her husband about some money he spent and didn’t tell her. ( I was mad at him too because that just meant less she had to spend at my shop. lol) IT WAS A LOT OF MONEY and he couldn’t take it back. When she got of the phone she was in tears. I really felt bad for her, she said she didn’t know how she was going to buy food for the week and pay bills. So before she left I ask her if I could pray for her, she said yea. I prayed that God would bless her & her finances.( I don’t think she as ever had someone wanting to pray for her before.) She gave me a hug and had a tear going down her check, she said thanks and left.

Latter in the day my husband dropped off our son Tanner at the shop. Tanner and I had plans to eat at Cici’s Restaurant for dinner that night. I had a customer at the counter when Tanner ask me if we were still eating at Cici’s tonight. The lady looked at me and ask if we liked eating there. I said "yes". Then she gave me two eat for free coupons for the restaurant. WOW Thanks! I said.

I was laying in bed that night and I Thanked God for sending that lady in with the coupons "I never get anything free so that was a big deal for me." As I thanked God he brought back to my remembrance earlier in the day the lady that I prayed for, I just know with out a shadow of a doubt God blessed me with that free meal because I prayed a blessing for someone else.

I will never forget to bless those around me, or to pray for my fellow man, not because I will get a free meal but because that is what God sent us here to do. I will await my blessing in Heaven.

You brought tears to my eyes. That is so wonderful. I always pray for others, never because I may get something in return, but because I think that's what God wants us to do.
