Baby Shower!!!

I had been so worried about the whole baby shower thing, but the turnout was great-- my mom and dad, my younger brother with my SIL and nephew, cousins, aunt and uncle,  my best buddy from Massachusetts even came all the way down....plus local friends.  I felt very loved.

Some people didn't show up, but all the others really made up for it.

I did do the favors, but a friend took care of the food, my hubby covered the balloon detail (we didn't go crazy with decorations), my SIL wrote all the gifts down and Brett and I opened them together.  I felt serene for the first time in a while.  The day was beautiful, the pool was freezing, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  I am glad I can still see beauty even thoug I have been so sad lately.
