Yesterday I had to take my DS to an emergancy doc appt., then to the ER. I was so scared. He was crying for hours, I should say screaming and nothing would soothe him. He wouldn't nurse, he wouldn't sleep, I was terrified. Luckily my SIL got home and was trying to help me. My husband was in a meeting at work and I couldn't get a hold of him. We got an appt. at the docs and my SIL took us because I can't drive my car right now. Luckily we had a back up car seat for situations like this! The doc couldn't find anything wrong except for some blood in his stool, which only she could decect with a test, there was no visible blood. So we had to take him to the childrens hospital ER and finally got checked out. Turns out after 7 hours of crying and screaming he just had to poop. He pooped A LOT too!!!! He was backed up and his tummy was hurting him. They finally let me nurse him too, which I know was part of the problem, he just didn't want to eat earlier cause his little tum tum hurt. AAHHH!!! OMG, thank GOd though, and now when he is older I have a funny story to tell him. Poor guy.
